AROSE Presents SPACELIVE: Australia’s Ultimate Live Space Event

 

AROSE is proud to present SPACELIVE in association with Lockheed Martin with the participation of NASA.

Produced by RMS Entertainment, SPACELIVE will deliver live, theatrical space events across Sydney, Melbourne and Perth in late July and early August 2026.

SPACELIVE will be hosted by Dr. Rebecca Allen, a leading figure in Australia’s space sector and Co-Director of the Space Technology and Industry Institute at Swinburne University of Technology, and features some of the most influential figures in global space exploration, including Apollo Mission Control Flight Director Gerry Griffin and award-winning Astrophysicist Dr. Sara Webb.

The events will explore the future of human spaceflight and deep space exploration, with an exclusive look inside the Artemis II Mission and plans for future missions led by NASA.

The SPACELIVE Cast

  • Dr. Rebecca Allen (Host) — Co-Director of the Space Technology and Industry Institute at Swinburne University of Technology and a leading figure in Australia’s space sector.
  • Gerald “Gerry” Griffin — former NASA official and Aeronautical Engineer who served as Director of the Johnson Space Center and Mission Control Flight Director across all crewed NASA Apollo missions, including six lunar landings.
  • Vanessa E. Wyche — Director of NASA’s Johnson Space Center, overseeing America’s astronaut corps, Mission Control Center, International Space Station, Orion, and Gateway Programs.
  • Holly Ridings — NASA’s Director of the Exploration Operations Office and the agency’s first female Chief Flight Director, leading human spaceflight operations through the Artemis era.
  • Andrea Boyd — Flight Controller for the International Space Station at the European Astronaut Centre, with a background in robotics and over 15 years in ISS flight operations.
  • Rob Chambers — Director of Strategy and Space Exploration for Lockheed Martin’s Human and Scientific Space Exploration Division, focused on extending humanity’s knowledge of our planet, our solar system, and the universe.
  • Gwen Griffin — Chair of the Texas Space Commission, working to spearhead initiatives and partnerships that enable innovation and technology development and ensure national security and the peaceful use of space.
  • Dr. Sara Webb — Award-winning astrophysicist, science communicator, Forbes 30 Under 30 honouree, and global leader in the future of space research and education.
  • Professor Alan Duffy (Melbourne only) — Pro-Vice Chancellor of Flagship Initiatives at Swinburne University of Technology, bridging research, industry and government across space, AI, and emerging technologies.
