AVA Challenge

Australia is going to the Moon!

AROSE is thrilled to be partnering with Australian Virtual Astronaut (AVA) to present a brand new challenge as part of their AVA Challenge in 2024.

‘Roving Around’ aims to engage young people in a real-life space challenge and to inspire them to address the emerging challenges faced when working in Space and on Earth.  Roving Around will give students an insight into the work being done by the AROSE Trailblazer team in the design and development of ‘Roo-ver’, Australia’s first ever Lunar Rover, which will be part of NASA’s Artemis Mission.

This challenge is designed as a flexibly run team event, for students in Years 5 – 10.

The current program is live now, and the deadline for the first round of submissions is Friday, 28 June.
