SUMMARY:New Horizons Summit
DESCRIPTION:Event Details\nThe New Horizons Summit is a one-day\, invite-only gathering of 150 leaders from across government\, industry\, and research\, focused on shaping Australia’s contribution to the future of lunar supply chains and space exploration. With a format built for focused dialogue and collaboration\, the summit feels more like a think tank than a traditional conference. \nThe agenda explores how Australia can leverage its deep terrestrial experience in remote operations\, autonomous systems\, advanced hauling\, and infrastructure delivery\, alongside its growing space capability\, to support international partners and mission goals. The aim is to not only enable global efforts but to write Australia meaningfully into the unfolding narrative of space exploration\, with a strong focus on self-sufficiency\, sustainability\, and off-world resilience.

SUMMARY:IMG2024 Industry Challenge: Visualising the Future of Mining Geology
DESCRIPTION:AROSE is excited to present a new Industry Challenge as part of the International Mining Geology Conference 2024 Program. \nIMG2024 is where industry experts will come together to explore advancements in mining geology. The conference will provide a platform for exchanging knowledge\, ideas and insights that will shape the future of mine geology excellence. \nBeyond thought provoking keynote presentations\, a high-quality technical program and bustling exhibition floor\, this conference will offer an opportunity to collaborate and strengthen your professional network. \nThe challenge\, called Visualising the Future of Mining Geology\, will be held on Monday\, 6 May\,  prior to the International Mining Geology Conference 2024. It will be a collaborative competition between teams of geoscientists\, mining and technology professionals. Teams will be given the same scenario on the day and asked to envisage a future workplace where current processes have been turned on their head – their work needs to occur remotely. The team in first place will win $5\,000 and more including a money can’t buy experience to visit the Fugro SpAARC facility\, a mission control centre in Perth supporting missions as recently as the US first landing on the moon in 50 years just last month.  We’re bringing the mining community together with space inspiration to go after this challenge. \nLearn more and register here: https://www.ausimm.com/conferences-and-events/mining-geology/program/Industry-Challenge-Visualising-the-Future-of-Mining-Geology/
